News / Second day of the international conference „What are the principles governing health care services in Slovakia?“ will deal with interesting, actual and for practice more important themes too


Presentation of the 1st morning panel session in the 2nd conference day


2nd conference day going to start on theme „Principle of autonomy in physician-patient relation“ At this theme members will learn what is the principle of patient autonomy? Is the patient's autonomy absolute? How to balance informational asymmetry between physian and patient? To what extent is a patient entitled to determine conditions under which health care is provided to him? Is a health care provider/physian autonomous while providing health care ? Should be the patient's will respected even if it leads to death ? Is an informed consent an unreachable goal or condition sine qua non for medical practice?

Doc. ThDr. Ing. Inocent M. Szaniszló, PhD., OP going to present the ethical analysis of the development of the relationship between patient and  his physian in modern era.

The next lecturer, JUDr. Adam Doležal, LL.M. going to perform our auxilium „The principle of autonomy or trust in the relation between patient and physian? The analysis of modern tendencies in bioethical theories.“

Another prominent foreign lecturer will the prof. Jitse van Dijk MD, PhD,LL.M., who will capture with theme  „The translation of patient autonomy into law in the Netherlands.“

As well as during of the first conference day, going to follow panel session with panelists, who will doc. PhDr. Patrícia Dobríková, PhD. et. PhD. with auxilium „Reasons and implications unrespected of the patient´s autonomy by paramedics“ and in the 1st panel session will perform Mgr. Adriana Jesenková, PhD. and Mgr. Adriana Švirková too with auxilium „The principle of autonomy as its aspect of the offer health care in the practice.“
